ZHUHAI, China, Nov 7 (PRIME) -- Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant, part of Russian Helicopters, plans to start production of three prototypes of the Baikal light transport aircraft that will replace the An-2 planes in 2020, an official representative of Russian Helicopters told PRIME at an airshow on Wednesday.
“The aircraft project has been developed… Production of first three prototypes will start in Ulan-Ude in 2020. In 2021, mass production will begin,” he said.
